Oscar 2021: lista di tutti i vincitori, Nomadland è il Miglior Film

Nonostante tutte le difficoltà portate dalla pandemia, con molti dei film del 2020 usciti mentre la gran parte dei cinema in tutto il mondo erano chiusi, la novantatreesima edizione degli Academy Awards si è tenuta lo stesso, segnando come la volta scorsa dei primati importanti nella storia dell’evento.

Il premio come miglior film se l’è aggiudicato Nomadland di Chloé Zhao, e a quest’ultima è andata la statuetta per la miglior regia, diventando così la prima donna asiatica e la seconda donna di sempre a vincere nella categoria. Yuh-Jung Youn è stata la prima attrice coreana a ricevere il premio come miglior attrice non protagonista, per Minari, e alla veneranda età di 83 anni Anthony Hopkins si è aggiudicato la statuetta come miglior attore protagonista in The Father, spiazzando i molti che davano ormai per certa la vittoria di Chadwick Boseman. Peccato per Mank, che su 10 nomination è riuscito a portarsi a casa solo due premi, per fotografia e scenografia.
